Upgraded to MT3

Upgraded my publishing software from Movabletype 2.661 to 3.0. There are no new features that I am going to use, but still just for fun upgraded it. Now need to put back all my old changes.

India outsourced its Prime Ministerial position to Italy

India these days always in news for white collar jobs from US and European countries outsourced to India. But today India outsourced its premier position - Prime Minister to Italy. Congress win and forming the government may be acceptable (though surprising!!) but for country with more then 1 billion population you certainly don’t need an Italy born Prime minister. Being an Indian this news doesn’t make me feel good. Very unfortunate!!

GMail is indeed in Beta

I started moving my user list subscriptions to GMail mainly due to limited space problem on my other accounts. Features and spam filters I feel are not up to the mark. Of course it is beta version but the way they had their froogle and Google news beta’s I expected more then just 1 GB mail space. Like for e.g my FireFox is not always very happy with their java scripts (may be this is a problem with firefox?). There are many features missing and hopefully they will make it better by actual release.

And regarding the invitations I have not yet received any such links but some one was telling me after I use GMail for a while they put such links in my account. As soon as I see any such link I will route it you guys way.
